It should be part of the exam to be a tc to be creative enough to figure out your own new steps! Dancers have to pay for the overseas tc's to come here to do the workshops. Do they tc's learn the steps? Usually not, they rely on the kids to remember it and continue teaching it to the dancers who don't pick it up as easily.

Tell me one tcrg in the wr that actually can create current competitive choreography. Just look at the internet, overseas dancers put their dances on sites all the time. It's not that difficult!

I only know of one who could keep choreography fresh in the wr and she's now gone.

If you're a tc and have to pay thousands of dollars to overseas tc's to come here to give you fresh great steps you really should be ashamed of yourself. DO THE WORK.

It’s an interesting question - who in the WR does their own steps? Which schools? Some teachers truly can’t do it and in that case, better to outsource IMO, but those who don’t try…. (NT) -- would love a crowd sourced list of schools with all in-house, 16:13:57 03/27/24 Wed
