Subject: Back when we started ID in 2005, there were three big WR schools and they did have WMH and even a few world champs (more)
In reply to: More inside 's message, "The WR has had a smattering of WMHs and winners over the years but I think the recall percentage is lower than other regions for a few reasons" on 15:53:33 03/27/24 Wed

The school were BFOC, Comerford and Claddagh. Those schools were huge. Each one had a solo world champion, a number of medal holders and Claddagh had a bunch of team world medals. They kind of dominated until the 2010s. Now most schools are smaller (I think that’s actually good that there’s so many new TCs and new schools in the region). Now I think the biggest WR school is Celtic Steps. It’s all cyclical and I think the WR will have more WMH at some point if students want to devote that kind of time to ID. I think maybe they don’t TBH.
