Let's be honest, for most dancers, nothing was stolen from them. My dancer wasn't vying for winning Worlds. I'm sure yours wasn't either. This didn't impact her or taint her experience, or in any way impact her passion, hard work and hopes.

This is exactly the point - our kids have dedicated so much of their soul to this sport, why are you so willing to be a victim and say all the joy in their dancing was in vain? The joy was there, and the joy could still be there if as parents you would just stop the drama, and stop sucking the joy out of it for everyone. YOU are the one erasing your dancer's joy and making your dancer feel like their entire dance career was a sham. It wasn't.

Yes, the cheating sucked. But who it actually impacted was a small subset of dancers, probably not yours. WE can choose to not make this a lifelong regret/stain on our children and MOVE ON. CLRG is trying to move on - new rules, adjustments, live and learn. Stop ruining this for your own dancer! I want me child to look back on her dancing career with nothing but joy and happiness and there is absolute no way I'm going to let this situation steal that from her. You parents who cannot let this go and let us all move on from the past are the ones who are dragging the entire sport down.
