Hosting a feis is incredibly difficult. Think of a Wedding weekend for 700 familes powered by volunteers who often dont see their own dancers rounds and work well after you arrive and leave. Most feis families are grateful for a chance to let their kids dance, compete, move up but sadly, even more like to complain without any true understanding of what it takes. As for Hawai Feis. I think after 30 years of hosting, (wrap your mind about how many complaints you would hear in 30 years) why not try to do something fun and new?
