Subject: Because there's literally hundreds of dancers who are grades or prelim and need to move up? And there's limited feis opportunities in SoCal? Many grades families probably have no idea about the scandal or who's involved.

  • I know many teachers who aren’t named in the screenshots who have tried to get favors for their dancers and I don’t think pictures of cell phones are credible evidence. I just assume every teacher (yes yours too) has tried to influence a judge or get a favor from an old friend. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t make a difference to little MyKeanna in B2. • Agreed. I also assume every teacher has done something like this, overtly or inadvertently, even in low stakes situations. Do I wish the judges and teachers in the text messages were punished? Of course. But that ship has sailed and either we try to do better and move on or the sport dies. (NT) -- No name, 09:13:39 10/15/24 Tue
