This is best to talk to your TC about because they understand your history and goals.

Generally anyone competing in the Adult categories with the u/o40 split is trying to compete against fellow dancers who learned to dance as adults for a more even playing field. If you were open champ level as a child, you would compete in the age groups (14&o, 22&o). There is no Advanced Adult trad set comp because Advanced Adults compete in solo champs. So it also depends on why you’re trying to compete in Trad Set if you could be competing in solos.
