Dear Exam Candidates,
Thank you for your interest in our exams. We have been assigned an examiner by CLRG. We will have Judy McCafferty as our examiner on January 11-12th, 2025.
The exams will be hosted at the South Bay Dance Center (24827 S. Western Ave. Lomita, CA 90717) on both days. There is ample parking and an entrance on the back side of the building. Dancers will be grouped by grade level to be taken. We will send out a schedule a few weeks before the exam to all candidates. Most exams will take an hour to complete. Please plan to arrive an hour before your scheduled time. There will be a separate room to warm up in. The flooring in the exam room and practice room is wooden so please plan accordingly. You may use tape on the bottom of your shoes if desired.

Just a reminder that dances are expected to be 40 bars, which is slightly longer than beginner through prizewinner competitive dances. Please bring all your previous certificates and score sheets with you, if you have taken exams before. These must be provided and checked before you can continue to take the next level grades.

There is still room in our exams for anyone wishing to take grades 1-10. Please complete the google form https://forms.gle/JX4HxbFLjME9c77G9 Thank you.

Please see the grade fees below. Each grade has a separate fee. For example if you’re taking grades 1-3 then the fee is $25 per grade. Your total will be $75. We can accept payment in a variety of ways electronically. If you would like to pay via check, please plan to mail it out early. Exam fees are due by December 15th.

Grades 1-3 $25 each
Grades 4-6 $30 each
Grades 7-10 $45 each
