At my workplace we usually use disposable diapers, it's just much more practical and hygienic if you have a dozens kids to take care of. These days they are also much more comfortable for the children. However we sometimes have patients with certain hypersensitivity and sensory issues and some of them tolerate cloth diapers better then disposable ones. In these cases we use them.

While cloth diapers to a good enough job at keeping the bed dry, if they are thick enough for the child, they are terrible at keeping the childs skin dry, which is uncomfortable and increases the risk of skin conditions. Some people claim that's actually a good thing, it's supposed to motivate the child to get dry, but I don't buy it. Laziness or lack of motivation is rarely the reason for bed wetting. Maybe an argument can be made for cases where the child refuses to cooperate with a treatment plan, but I'd consider that a last resort at best.
