Incontinence as an adult is not something you should really strive for. However, when it comes to diaper training, especially with older children, it helps immensely to help them accept the diaper.
Since our girls are incontinent (semi-permanent) we hardly have any rebellion against the diaper - it's just part of it.
Only the fact that they are changed by others is a source of complaining - especially for the older one. But there is no alternative for us - the diaper area is absolutely taboo for the girls!

Touching or even masturbation without permission is an absolute no-go, and we take very strict action against it with our girls.
But since they are always winded, the danger is not too great.
