Our doctor also got us stents with a purple indicator. If we find traces of purple in the diaper, it means that the stent will be completely dissolved in about 3 days.
What surprises me a bit is the quick dissolution time with your grommets. Ours needs about 6 weeks, then we should stay without one for a week before we can put in a new one.
With this method you can achieve very stable incontinence in 6 months - even without new stents.
Do you still use stents/grommets with your girl?
