I was in the hall and did see that an ambulance came up and they brought a bed down the hall and I heard that someone had beat their daughter!!
OMG!! Has our pageant World gone pysco? Which child are they referring to?

Yes, Someone Please post the Name of this child so everyone can be on the look out for this child when she is at a pageant. Someone needs to protect this innocent kid from her abusive mother.

Who beat there child?? OMG, this is so sad. That is the exact example of a mom who needs to get OUT of pageants and get some help!! She is definately in it for all the wrong reasons!! Someone needs to post who she is so we all can be watching out for this child.

How does anyone know that it was a pageant child that was beat? I mean... It is aweful, either way. But you ppl make it sound as if you KNOW it was a pageant kid. The hotel was not closed to everyone that was not with the pageant. It could have been ANY child that happened to be staying at the hotel

It was said to be a Pageant Mom who was upset with her kid for not doing good on stage. Someone please post who this was. I am sickened by hearing that there are actually pageant moms out there that will beat their kids for not doing what they are supposed to on stage. It makes me want to puke!!! For the Sake of the Child, Someone Post her name!

It was a 5 yr old girl who was hit in the face, kicked, and called a f#@*ing b@#@h for freezing on stage IF it happened. There was one witness, a 17 old girl who cried for 2 hours because of what she saw. She herself had been beat by her father. The people in the room next to them herd the mother screaming what an embarressment she was then something hit the wall and glass break. Yes the police were called an NO the mother was not arrested. They said she had no fresh marks on her so there was nothing to do. Many other people saw the parents fighting and that got pretty nasty. The little girl even told her father how mommy hit her in front of about 6 people. The little girl did make a special friend this weekend and hopefully she will call if she needs to. She was taught how to call collect. The parents were talked to and with God's help if this happened, which it seems likely it did, it will never happen again. Just please remember to keep this little girl in your prayers. She is such a little angel. I wish I could have brought her home with me. Remember it is not the pageants that caused this. This is just what they do. It could have happened anywhere. This is a short story to the whole thing and it is the truth. I did not here it from a friend. I was there for the entire thing and did what I could besides going to jail myself for beating the mother. It's in God's hands now. Little one, I hope your safe and loved where ever you might be. I see your face every night when I close my eyes and you are in my prayers.

OMG!! I am sitting here in tears reading this. How could anyone treat their 5 year old kid like that for freezing on stage. They are CHILDREN!! They are not perfect. I don't know how you contained yourself, but I know if I was there, I would of of wanted to beat that mother.
I will keep this little one whoever she is in our prayers every night.

Someone needs to post this little girls name. If this mother has done this once, she will do it again. Atleast people at pageants can be on the look out for the saftey of this child if they know who it is.

i do not feel right posting her name but if you ask enough people you can find out who she is. everone there knew about it. i don't want anyone to be mean. it would only make it worse for the child. i will tell you, she is from out of the state the pageant was held in. and she is NOT in the program book. my oldest keeps asking to adopt her. she fell in love with her too and says a prayer for her every night too. thats all we can do. i am going to try and get their # and call to check on her if i can. wish me luck.

when things like this happen you really wonder why we act so petty over a crown and title. these children are our blessings from God. they are ALL our little angels. remember to hug and kiss your babies tonight and tell them how much you love them and are proud of them and how beautiful they are. if everyone will say a prayer for this little girl i know God will take care of her. i hope to see her again some day. you just don't understand how this has affected my life. my girls have always been my life but now i look at each minute as if it's my last with them. you never know. I was at Sunburst International about 5 years ago and actually witnessed a parent beat her daughter with a coat hanger because she messed up in sportswear. The door was open and you could see what she was doing. The mom was from Louisiana and I can't recall her name, but her kid was winning a lot about that time. We called the police because you could hear the kid screaming all the way down the hall. When the police arrived, she tried to say the child fell off the bed, but I have worked in child welfare services and no child can get red welps on her back and legs from "falling off a bed". This sort of abuse DOES go on at pageants, probably more than a lot of us realize.

But it happens everywhere. Just more frequently where there is more stress and the child is expected to do more than most children. It happens in sports, with grades, with something as little as cleaning a room. Anywhere and in any type of family. All we can do is try and help when we can and set good examples, for others and our own children. None of us are perfect and we all have our own problems but I know there is no excuse for that type of behavior but if we react the wrong way it will not help the child. That is what we need to focus on. Ant whoever posted the state was right. If you want to help this little girl I will try and give you what info I can without over stepping my bounds. Just ask. You can call me her Special Friend. I really don't want anyone to know me. I think I can help her more if you don't know me. I have asked for her # and am waiting for a reply. I will do my best to keep in touch with her and hope that if she ever needs me she will call. She does heve my # and a special gift to remember me by. I hope she knows there are people who care and loves her. Why she has touched me so deep I don't know, but God works in misterious ways. Maybe he had us meet for a reason. I will try and keep everyone posted on how she is doing when I find out. My post will be titled The Little Angel.

After giving this some thought as to whether I should come on here and tell anyone, I decided I should for the sake of the child. The Above poster may disagree, but I feel if others are warned atleast at a pageant the child can be safe if no where else. I can not sleep at night thinking this child may be being abused right this very minute because there were No Fresh Bruises on her at that very minute the police came to talk to the mother, but it didnt state that there were NO Bruises at all, Now did it. I am sure those who live in her state already know who this is becuse from what I was told this was not the first time, this is something that goes on quite often.
This Mother was BR's mother. Please pray for this little angel that God Helps from this abuse and please, please for the sake of this child, if you ever see her at a pageant, Please watch that she does not get abused.
