Nervous the whole way listening to the broadcast. Obviosly there were many shaky moments, especially on offense. But the defense sounded great( Yale shooting in the low 30s). I guess Robby T. came up big. The most important thing however is it is a win, and another close one at that! Am eagerly waiting the reports from the faithful(who I'm sure are now having a victory livation and chicken fingers above section 103). By the way, was the building as frigid as Heussler and Cummings made it sound?

It was that cold!

Anyone who thinks Bell is ready to take over from Kudjo didn't see the game today. Never mind Bell's misses; his D is not close to Kudjo's. The game right now, as it is at times for Maxwell, is too quick for him.

It's a wonderful thing in basketball when a big man learns how to use his body to score inside. Oscar could have a Phillip year.

What about Robbie's second half. His steals were the key to holding off Yale's run. He needs to continue to go to the basket and look for his shot.

Gai looked confused at times on offense but still intimidated Yale. He played smart down the stretch when TOT inserted him back in the lineup with four fouls.

Anyone sitting behind the Stag bench hear Maxwell and Oscar going at it? Maxwell seemed very frustrated today.

Who was booing? That was disgraceful.

A solid win for the Stags.

I didn't listen to the game, but was happy to see the team won .... until I looked at the box score. Boy does this team win ugly. 20 turnovers. Maxwell plays 18 minutes and goes 0-2 with no rebounds. Only 7 foul shots the whole game. Up 13 at the half, only to make it another nailbiter. Is it ever easy? Is it ever textbook hoops where they have 10 turnovers, shoot 54%, and win by 20?

Can someone who was there provide a report that says all of the wonderful things the team did so that I don't have to rely on an ugly boxscore to leave me with that somewhat empty feeling?

I'll take the win and 6-5 is a lot sweeter than 5-6, but it sure looks like this team does it with smoke and mirrors. Still leaves me with that bi-polar feeling. Happy for the win, but always expecting a collapse. As always, I remain cautiously optimistic. We are certainly due for a good year after so many mediocre ones. Onward to the MAAC season!

Great win, It was very cold in the arena, because of last nights hockey game. But your right on with your remarks about Bell, I have never thought he is the guy, Kudjo plays great defense, hit 2 big threes today and his athletism allows us to get out on the break. Tough day for Maxwell but he's kind of a tweener and in a game like today where we got the ball inside a lot it was tough for him as a SF/SG to get oppertunities he definately has to work on his outside shot, to be more effective. I though Oscar played great even though he missed some easy ones in the first half he plays hard and wills the ball in the hoop consistantly. Gai played lights out for the first 10 minutes of the game and then tappered off, this may be due to his not yet being in game shape, or because he seemed to float to the perimeter a little too much, they didn't have anyone to guard him, he hit a nice baby hook also in the first half that I think he should go to more. Mike Bell is still never ready to shoot and not nearly has far along as many of you guys think IMO. Ajou looked pretty bad, it's tough to critic him because I admire his courage, but I think unfortunately untill he's at least 90% he hurts more than helps. Robbie played a great game really worked hard for offensive rebounds, and a great play when he pulled the ball of Vittelli's? hands and went in for two. Luckily Yale was off in the first half, because they showed how hot they can get when they cut a 15 point deficit to 6 in about 2 minutes, would have like to see us hold the lead there or extend it but who cares. BIG WIN!

Booing our own ( college kids ) team is the most pathetic thing a so called Stag fan can do.
