Subject: CT Post Stories - Rob/Nick Star, Doris sees Progress

Two really good stories in the CT Post. In the Mike Puma article, the Yale Coach said that Thomson's play turned the game around. Talking about willing the team to win..... thats what Thomson and Delfico were all about yesterday. Great to hear Thomson say that the most important thing is for him to stay active..... if he does that, good things will happen.... I agree 100%

In Elsberry's column, Gene Doris gave TOT a vote of confidence. In the 3+ articles that Elsberry has done on Doris evaluating TOT and the team, Doris has not waivered on his expectations...... almost using the same words in each story:

- Progress must be made
- We must be on the winning side of .500
- Reduce the crunch-time meltdowns, and the mental mistakes that turned victories into defeats

We are only 1/3 thru the season, but I would say that the team has exceeded my expectations at this point: I am happy with the 4-5 OOC record and the current 2-0 record in the MAAC. Finishing strong in the MAAC Season, and MAAC Tourney are now the real important games.
