Subject: NO-OFFENSE Offence

The No-OFFENCE offence also known as The How To give the Other Guys A Shot At Winning the Game Offense. Five minutes to go and we lead by five and have the ball. Our options: Work the ball around for a good shot and use some clock or try an alley oop pass which doesn't work 90% of the time. Our choice:The alley oop. Our next possession: Be sure to throw the ball to the corner where noone can get it. Yale's next possession: Be sure to foul someone 25 ft. from the hoop and just to make it interesting be sure that he is someone who hasn't missed a foul shot all game long.

Some of these guys are great academic students but are lacking in basketball acumen.

This game was Harvard again. We get a big lead with superlative play in the first half only to lose it after the break. Sure we won , but we were very, very fortunate. A made shot by Yale in the last few seconds and half of us are headed for the nearest bridge.
