Good(e) win tonight. I was heartened by the team's performance; the Stags did what they were supposed to do: easily defeat a weaker opponent.

The game shook out strangely. While Thomson, Todd, Sogadzi and Maxwell struggled, Delfico, Goode, Gai and Garcia played brilliantly. With Bell sitting on the bench in civvies, Nick came up big offensively, experiencing a career shooting night. Garcia and Gai just got it done, as usual. Oscar has figured out how to play in the paint (at both ends of the court), and Gai regained his outside shooting touch tonight. However, Ty was the star of the game, a defensive demon and a magician with the ball. Nothing cheap about his 9 assists. Most were laser passes in traffic, leading to easy baskets. He simply took over and refused to let Loyola back into the game.

Nice to see the Stags keep a team at arm's length for 40 minutes. We are definitely a couple of levels above a feisty Loyola club, and it showed.

How was Todd's ankle????? Do you think it affected his play????? What were the reasons for his low output?????..... usually he has numbers somewhere, points, assists, steals FT's or 3's.
