According to Bob Huessler in the postgame, Thomson and Garcia had the flu and played ineffectively. Gai rode to the rescue, 24 points in 30+ minutes.

Jerry Johnson 2-10 behind the arc. A little too much Goode and Todd, evidently. Rider 5-23 from three-point land.

Another big stat: FU shot 23-29 from the line.

Nice win for the Stags.

Let's hope that if "Thompson and Garcia had the flu" that it is the flu and not MONO, which Bell has. If the whole team gets MONO, we are in for a bad season...Hope whatever they have is short term....
