I agree about Robbie. I hope Gai decides to stay, but more importantly, I hope he stays focused to get his degree. If Gai ultimately decides the best thing for him is to transfer, then we should thank him for the contributions and wish him the best of luck. Robbie proved that he can bang with the big boys, and I believe he would work like a maniac in the offseason to better himself. I don't think he will ever be a dominating presence on the court, but he is a solid big man, and if we can get some outside shooting, the inside would open up and give him the opportunity to shine.

Thomson played a nice game in the finals. He showed flashes on offense and we already knew he can play defense. The MAAC doesn't require enormous numbers out of its big men. 10 points and 8 boards and you've got a good center. No reason to believe RT couldn't produce that.

I agree on Gai. Whatever happens, I wish him the best. If it was two years then so be it.

I just hope that he values the educational opportunity he is receiving. He, of all people, should know that there are more important things in life than basketball. His country needs well-educated, ethical, moral leaders. I would be prouder of him if he were ultimately to become a leader in his country than if he were to get to the NBA.
