Subject: Congratulations Deng Gai!!

Deng gets 1st team all conf., and that's it!! Nobody else. I think Oscar got hosed, big time. Manhattan had a guy on each team, and won the league by 1 game, come on. No Stags on the rookie team either, when the only frosh who was more important to their team than Todd were Clark and Haddix, 2 Iona guys on all rookie team along with Clark, Haddix, Muniz, and the white kid from Manhattan. FF got hosed, again... Holmes made 2nd team, over Oscar, BS.

Congratulations Deng. An honor well deserved. Next year MVP and P.O.Y.. Except for possibly Haddix and Clark, I wouldn't trade Terrence Todd for any of those first year players. Watch out for Michael Bell next year.

Great to see Deng make the first team, but disappointed that we were shut out otherwise. Oscar and Todd should have been there too.

Though, I am not glad that Oscar and Todd were shut out, I hope they use this as a chip on their shoulder next weekend.

I always think that people/teams that are underestimated, can parlay that into a positive. This is a main reason that I think we will see some upsets on Saturday. You can't just look to who the seeding says you will play.

The goal shouldn't be MAAC 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team, but rather a member of the MAAC Champion.

Have to laugh on how the landscape has been altered. Used to be, we would point to and identify as "that black kid" out there. Now we refer and highlight as, "that white kid".

I'll grant Holmes probably has more potential, but he was wildly erratic this year. Give it to Oscar on consistent contribution you can count on. Based on this year I'd take Jared Johnson over Holmes.

Can't be that many that made 1st team as a Soph. Obviously Simmons and Flores last year, but probably not to many others. I would guess less than 10.

3 Sophmores made it this year alone.

Gai, Johnson, and Mendez

Flores (Junior), Prosper (Senior)are the other first team members.
