Subject: Just getting worse...whew

This team has the killer instinct of Ghandi. Up by 16pts. in the second half and needing a miracle finish to get the win. You want four more years of TOT? Nixon got re-elected didn't he? Don't be surprised if we are one and done in the MAAC tournement. A young team like this should be improving not regressing. Who's at fault here?

No excuse for 24 TO's against absolutely no pressure, especially in late Feb. That is coaching. This has been TOT's curse at FF, and it is not getting better, and won't. He has guards now, and in late Feb., there are no more freshmen. They won because they found a team with a dumber player than their's, Corien John, he should play for FF, he would fit right in. The promise of early Jan. is long gone, if you cannot take care of the ball, you have no shot at success in March, none. Unless a miracle happens to Oscar, Todd, Tyquan, and Kudjo, it WILL be a quick weekend. It is disgusting how little this team values the basketball, a disgrace. This team has no idea how to unleash it's talent, and some of it has been held back, and that blame falls on one guy!!!

I'm interested in your take on how TOT uses various players.

You mean; "how he DOESN'T utilize various players".

OMM - your spin on the following, if you would please: Why does it seem that certain players on this team can NEVER do wrong, at least in the eyes of the coaching staff? Leads one to believe that Gene Doris views his coaching staff the same way.

Pathetic. You're a lucky man tonight, TOT.

Yeah, TOT has his shortcomings as a game coach. Somebody should hold a gun to his head and force him to hire a veteran assistant coach who can help with game situations. But it probably wouldn't matter, because TOT is too head-strong and doesn't want to defer to anybody. That's a mistake. Still, TOT deserves to stay because of the team's improvement. I mean, 17-10 is a giant step forward.
But make no mistake: Jerry Hobbie is the unsung hero of the program. Without Hobbie, there's no Ajou Deng and Deng Gai at FU. Hobbie is going to make a hell of a head coach because he can recruit and has most of TOT's positive traits without the negative side effects.

Absolutely, 110% agree. without him there is no Ajou, Deng Gai, Kudjo, Todd, O'Sullivan, Maxwell. He will be a good head coach someday.

How is Hobbie as an offensive coach?
