Joe, I don't think the matter is even that complex. If Fairfield wins they end up 13-5. If Manhatten loses there last 2 they are 13-5 and Fairfield wins the tie breaker based on a superior record against the third place team, Iona. Even if Iona and Niagara tie for third, Fairfield has the better record 3-1 against the duo than manhatten which would be 2-2. If it were a three way tie with Siena, the records would be FU 4-2 and manhatten 3-3. So very simply Manhatten needs to win one of their final two games to clinch first, failure to do so coupled with a stags win at Loyola would give the stags first...

We were swept by Niagara, so if Niagara and Iona tie for third we have the same record at 2-2 against them.

You and joe are both right. We need a niagara loss or this tiebreaker thing becomes very complicated.

I am not trying make this complicated, but would enjoy knowing who I'm rooting for during the games.

Let's look at the Stags best case scenario. Let's say the Jaspers (losses to Siena & Iona) and Stags (win at LU) tie at 13-5. Gaels (win at LU and at MU), Saints (beat MU and SPC) and Eagles (beat Rider and Marist) tie at 12-6

What is the order for 1-5?

Take Manhattan and Fairfield's record vs the third place team, which according to the NEW tiebreaker rules means you take your combined record against all 3 school (IC, SC, NU).

Assuming your scenario, Fairfield's record is 3-3 and Manhattan's record would also be 3-3. That means you go to the 6th place team to break the tie. If Rider finishes 6th (most likely scenario), FF will be the 2 seed because Manhattan swept them. Even if Marist finishes 6th, both you and Manhattan swept Marist, so you'd need the tiebreaker to get to Rider (even if they finish 7th).

If for some reason Niagara loses to Marist instead of Rider, the tiebreaker I outlined would still be in effect.

So it doesn't look possible for FF to be the 1 seed under any circumstances, unless Iona somehow finishes 3rd

Again, using your scenario, and using the NEW tiebreaker rules (Not Shawn Brennan rules), Siena would be the 3rd seed under any scenario because we own the tiebreakers between Iona and Niagara.

Figuring the 4-5 seeds between Iona-Niagara is much harder. Without going into excruciating detail, it all rides on Niagara's 2 home games because the same tiebreakers I outlined for Manhattan-Fairfield would also apply to Niagara Iona. Bottom line is Niagara would be the 4 and Iona the 5 because Iona split with Rider and Marist. So far, Niagara is 1-0 vs. Marist and Rider. For Iona to be the #4 seed, NU would have to lose to both Rider and Marist and that would be just to stay even with Niagara in the tie breaker. But if NU loses both games, none of this matters because NU is LIKELY going to finish 5th in its own right.
