Everyone that needs to be there is close enough to the Arena - as of 2 hours ago - to avoid any postponement...

Go Stags,,,,,

I believe that Marist is still in Poughkeepsie - 2 hours on a good day...don't know about in the snow. Other MAAC games were cancelled today down in the areas already hit by weather. I would think that they could still cancel...

MSG broadcasters were on their way after the the Iona WIN! Said they were going to head out on 95 after the game.

It's 11:30 p.m., and I live in Brooklyn. It's been snowing for five hours now, and we have at least five inches already. And the weather folks say the brunt of the storm won't hit until tomorrow morning. We're looking at two feet of snow, and it would be a travesty if these games were played in front of 50 fans because MSG said so. Of course, it may be all moot. If Rider and Marist, even St. Peter's, are not in Bridgeport right now, it will be near impossible to travel the highways during what is being called "the storm of the millennium."

So why do I think the games will be played?

As soon as anyone knows what the deal is, please post the information on this message board.

Thanks.

Roads are already getting pretty bad and snow is piling up quickly here. Will try to go but wouldn't be surprised if I couldn't make it down. At this rate, there may not even be 30 people in the Arena unless you include the staff. I think the MSG broadcasts would mean the games would not be postponed. At least STAG fans everywhere will get to see the game on TV. What a shame, it's the last home game for what's turning out to be a banner season!!!

If you guys are expecting what we got yesterday, then batten down the hatches. We've got almost two feet of snow...and it's still snowing as of 8:30 Monday morning! Everything is shut down.

We got about 18 inches, its still snowing. Then in the afternoon its supposed to start getting heavy. Radar has it over Baltimore now. Prediction: 24-30 inches, and Stags by 9.

I have snowblown 3 times.... it doesn't matter as the wind blows it back.

Even without MSG, the games would be played...the MAAC has the game be held if you have the teams and the officials. And they have all 4 teams and the officials...so the games are on....
