"increase funding to the basketball program and fund more scholarships". Sounds like now that the basketball program is surging in performance and interest, that FU wants to put more resources in that direction. This is great news for season ticket holders. I feel for the hockey and football fans. I know that as an alum and a local Fairfield resident, that we really enjoy attending the football games on a Saturday.

Funding aside, the fact remains that Fairfield Basketball, and MAAC basketball, will always, always, be a second ranked league to the big east, altaltic 10, etc, etc.
