Joe - I can go back in the archives, pull every TruthRuth post, and find minimal that actually deal directly with Fairfield basketball. The mere fact that the attacks are directed at me is fine, because personally, if I meet this individual, I will deal with them appropriately. That being said, let us know if everything is fair game. You continue to leave her (sounds like a woman) posts on the Board, even after many posters tell you that they are upset.

We have talked several times at games, and I appreciate your insights and administration of this Board. But Jesus Christ, what are you thinking leaving this BS on the board, when everyone is telling you to get it off!! I can get as nasty as anybody, but choose not to anymore. But if you want to let the Board go to that level, and I don't think that you will, than everybody shoot banter, swear, talk about how psychotic everyone is, etc. I find a distinct difference between anything free_beer posts and TruthRuth.

Again, personally, I don't care that the attacks are on me, but why do you want this on the Board. It is not bantering, it is talking about an FU education, etc. Bob, wake up here.

People post unfair and false information all the time. I do not delete or ban people every time that is done. I only do it if it is damamging to the University, its players, coaches or administrators.

Is TruthRuth's statements about "TOT's great record as compared to Coach K's or prior Fairfield Coaches" anymore unfair or false as compared to people that say "TOT has NEVER won a close game", or "TOT has NEVER won a close game"....... its no different. I disagree with both points of view, and are there false statements in both..... Yes. Will I delete and ban people every time that happens..... NO

Have I banned posters in the past just because a group posters do not like what another poster is saying..... NO. Have I been ask to do so.... sure.

I do not want to misuse the power I have in controlling who or what is posted, I think that is dangerous, and will destroy what the Message board is about. I deal in how a post negatively affects the the University, its players, coaches or administrators..... which I take very seriously.

I do agree that I should monitor the TruthRuth situation closely..... It is causing too much useless bantering posts and it has become personal. I will ask TruthRuth, and ALSO those Posters that have been responding to her to keep the dissusions about HOOPS, and not make it Personal.
