Here are a few things that were discussed.

- We will offer a Bus for all fans to go the Manhattan Away game. Leave around 5PM on a Thursday night. Cost will be around 10-15/person. We want to get a good crowd for the Manhattan away game. Email me at bob_kulikowski@vwr.com is you are interested.

- We got ourselves organized to offer some type of Buses/Hotel rooms for the MAAC Tourney. We won't have details until we know our seeding.... but more details will come.

- We did some planning on the Men's Hoop Awards Banquet. We got some good things happening and it should be a great night. The date is April 12.... keep it open. Details will come when we confirm the speaker, who we think is a very good choice.

- European trip this summer is up in the air. Probably know if its a go by April.

- I need feedback from everyone on the Webcasting upgrade scheduled for this weekend. I warned everyone that if people cannot easily connect before that time, then WVOF should call it off.

- Students like their current seats and do not want to be on the floor.... I was shocked to hear that.

- We will continue the post game receptions after weekend games. These are great events, and we can't understand why more people don't take advantage if it. Roshown Mcleod was very good in giving us some details on the St Peter's game. Free soda, free food, and final Boxscores were there even befor people were arriving..... all for $6. Everyone on this Message Board has an open Invitation from me to attend this event.... Just say the magic word "JoeStag"

- The Post Game reception after the Homecoming game will have have all former fairfield Hoop players invited. Should be pretty cool if they all attend. I think Art Kenney is organizing all the former players to attend the Homeconing Game.

- Next issue of Newsletter will come out in February.

- Pregame Media notes are always available on the Stag 6th man website on the day of the game.

Thats all I can remember right now.

Hey Joe, I don't know anything about how this web stuff works, but I've got to say that the webcast of the Manhattan game was flawless. Not the WVOF feed, but whatever it was that the Jaspers station was using. Maybe WVOF can check out what the guys at Manhattan use, because it was crystal clear.

JS- where is the 6th man website? If it is top secret you can email it to me. I don't remember reading anything about it in the 6th man materials I got.

Sorry I couldn't stay for the post game reception. I'll make the next one and be sure to bring along a guest....Tom

We know that the station needs to serve the local fans ( who can get the best reception) but we here have had some problems getting the games to come in clear and or at all without going off the air.
We have only this option to listen and cheer on the Stags so hopefully things can get worked out. Timmy at the station has been very nice and helpful to troubleshoot some problems.
