I agree it sounds a bit fishy, I never get the scoop on anything (although I think my wife may have a lover...)

My source is reliable. I never post anything controversial ever - I am not TruthRuth in disguise. I truly hope that it isn't true - I like the idea of fall football. I was told that a decision would be made later this week, so, as active Alumni, I suggest and recommend that everyone on this board call the Athletic Office and voice your concerns. Since there has been no "official" announcement, perhaps they can be swayed. But, from what I have heard, they are heavily leaning toward dropping the program... I guess you could say it's 4th and 9 with 2:00 remaining in the game and we're down by 6...

there definately will be a meeting on thurs night regarding the future of the football team
