Subject: Iona Game - Who is going?????
I expect a lot of Fairfield Fans will be at the Iona game, with all the NYC, Westechester and Fairfield Country Alums. In addition, friends and family from Players/Coaches like Delfico, Goode, Sogadzi, Carter, Logan, and TOT. It would be great if it approached the 300-400+ fans that were at the Fordham game (even though it seemed like a 1,000). At Fordham and Rider, Stags Fans made their presence felt, so hopefully we will get a good showing on Saturday.
There is has NOT been a big response for any Pregame Gathering, so I will call off any Pregame Get-together at the Beechmont Tavern. Even though, I still might be there..... depending when I arrive. Most Fans will probably want to get their tickets between 6:30 and 7PM. The Iona Box Office opens one hour prior to the game, $10.00 adult, $5.00 youth (13 and under).
At Fordham and Rider we had a good contingent behind the Fairfield bench, and our Presence was felt as we were all sitting together. I will be there, along with other fans, if you would like to join. How about a Roll-Call. Respond to this Post if you are Going to the game, or thinking about going
Directions to Iona:
--------------------------
1. From Hutchinson River Parkway. South to Exit 18E, Mill Road. Right on Mill Road to light, then right on North Avenue. Follow North Avenue 2 miles to gates of College on your left.
2. Interstate 95 (Connecticut Turnpike, New England Thruway) Exit 16. At the exit go straight to the traffic circle. Make a right onto Lincoln Ave. Go one block and turn left onto North Ave. Follow North Avenue to gates of the College on your right.

Which side of the court. Bench side or opposite side.
Are there chair back seats on the Bench side, and will Stag fans be able to sit behind the Stag Bench.

The chairbacks are only on the bench side. I usually sit roughly at halfcourt in the chairbacks.
I don't know if those seats behind the Fairfield bench are available. You would have to ask the chick in the ticket booth when you get to Mulcahy. I have seen fans from other teams there, but I know those seats are not considered "general admission" so I don't know what to tell ya.
I presume Fairfield U has been given an allotment of tickets too, and I'd guess those might be behind the Stag bench. Might be worth a call for you guys to the Stag athletic office?
