Pre game bluster aside, it was a nice compliment from Siena coach Lanier. Do you think that the Ct. Post would ever run a Fairfild Link like the Albany Times Union supports Siena?

The TU has always given Siena coverage, as the program improved over last few years and more importantly the attendance increased the TU and other local papers increased coverage. My point is if FF can continue to win and show the community is interested in the stags via increased attendance I'm sure your coverage will increase.

With the type team FF has this year coupled with the new arena, it’s a sin that FF isn’t averaging 4 or 5 thousand a game, hopefully attendance will pick up second half of season

I really like the upside of the Fairfield program now, with the good team and arena Fairfield has allot going for it, I look for the stags to zoom by Iona, not only should you continue to beat the Gaels on the hardwood, I look for you to win recruiting battles against the Gaels also.

Don't forget, Siena basketball is the only game in town in Albany. No matter what Fairfield does, it will always rank at least third in Southern Conn., behind the UConn women and UConn men. Sad, but true.

Where FF basketball is ranked is beyond your control, if you start getting 5 to 8000 fans a game the program will demand coverage and the ConnPost will be obliged to give it. Hard to expect coverage when your averaging 2200 fans a game. If Fairfield ups the attendances the Conn post will have no choice in the matter, if they want to sell papers and they obviously do want to sell papers. Fairfield is on the right track, you are a program on the rise
