You don't really think that all players in the portal were DI talent do you? Just because they were all sitting on DI teams doesn't mean their talent levels were all on par with that division. I'm surprised it's not basic understanding when talking about these kids. You can't put together a competitive team on a sports forum just by investigating names and where they have been.

If I were a college coach in his position, I would have to plan to develop a team over several games if not the bulk of the season and hope to develop a winning formula by the time the late season hit and hopefully carry that into the tournament. Since there are few if any players to build on from last season, the coach would have to assemble his best team over the course of the season.

Predicting what kind of team has been recruited at this point is a complete waste of time.
