Week 6 Rewind
» Niagara would play two games at Dwyer Arena against Holy Cross going 1-0-1 against the Crusaders.
» The Purple Eagles would tie the first matchup but would win in a shootout when Jay Ahearn would score the game winner. Grayson Dietrich, Braden Doyle, and Noah Hackett each scored for Niagara Friday night.
» For game two, Pierce Charleson would stop all 40 shots that came his way, this was the third time this seaons where Charleson would stop 40 plus.
» Glebs Prohorenkovs would recorded the game winning goal in the thrid period, Noah Hacket would strike first on Saturday for his second goal on the weekend followed by Jay Ahearn who would also put one home.
League Leaders
» NIagara leads the AHA in total assists (77), and points (121), while ranking top-5 in short handed goals (1), power play goals (9), scoring offense (3.38), scoring margin (0.62), scoring defense (2.77), power play percentage (19.1), and faceoff win percentage (52.8).
» Shane Ott leads the AHA in assists per game (0.92) and points per game (1.15), while teammate Glebs Prohorenkovs leads the league in game winners with three.
» Niagara’s Tyler Wallace is third in the conference with 157 faceoff wins, while Glebs Prohorenkovs are sixth and Andy Reist ranks 10th.
» Wallace is second in the league with three power play goals, while freshman teammate Trevor Hoskin is seventh with two.
» Pierce Charleson is second in the AHA with a .925 save percentage.

» Niagara has 19 league points through nine games this season and sit atop the AHA standings with a 5-2-2 league record.
» The Purple Eagles earned its fifth win of AHA play last Saturday, Nov. 16. It is the second-fastest a Lammers led team has reached five league wins in a season.

» After scoring two goals in each of its first game of the 2024-25 season, Niagara has scored at least three goals in 10 of its last 12 games, including a season-high seven in its AHA opener against Robert Morris.
» Niagara is averaging 3.38 goals per game this season, third-best in the league and 14th best in the nation.
» The Purple Eagles have 31 goals in nine league games this season, a 3.4 goals per game average.
October Players of the Month
» Niagara University’s Shane Ott and Trevor Hoskin have been named Atlantic Hockey America’s Forward and Rookie of the Month for October after strong starts to the 2024-25 season.
» Ott, a senior for the Purple Eagles, led the team with 10 points in seven games, including two goals and eight assists. The playmaking forward recorded multiple points in four games during October, including a two-assist performance in Niagara’s 4-1 victory over RIT to close out the month.
» Hoskin made an immediate impact in his collegiate career, tallying nine points on three goals and six assists through his first seven games. The freshman forward recorded his first collegiate goal on the power play in a 3-4 loss at St. Lawrence on October 12. His strongest performance came in a 7-3 win at Robert Morris on October 25, when he netted a goal and added two assists for a three-point night.
Preseason Poll
» The Niagara University Purple Eagles were selected sixth in the Atlantic Hockey America Poll, the conference announced on Sept. 17, receiving one first place vote and a total of 67 points.
» The Sacred Heart Pioneers claimed the top spot in the Coaches’ Poll, tallying 102 total points and five first-place votes in balloting among AHA head coaches.
