Announced attendance of 509 but don’t think there were more than 200. It used to be that Friday nights were for high school games. The MAAC initially indicated that the F-S arrangement allowed for less time away from classes but school wasn’t even in session last week. Will never be able to compete with the Bills on Sunday? Why did the MAAC add Sacred Heart and Merrimack? Two additional schools competing for the one bid. Liked the even schedule of home and homes. Now you are going to have schools that either have an easier or harder schedule based on the four teams only scheduled once. The whole goal is to get a bid and now there are two additional teams making it harder. SH doesn’t even add a new market. Hope it wasn’t done just to get expansion fee money. Even if the Bills are not playing everyone watches football. My guess is Sunday games are needed for travel schedules and the like. It seems like a fools errand to try and go up against the NFL in anything. Sadly, tho, I doubt anyone cares. 509 for game when the Bills were on at 1pm in the playoffs is actually pretty good. It avoids back to backs, although I really wonder why that matters. I can only imagine that there is little to effort on campus to drive student attendance. The attendance is pathetic.
