Two players are redshirting due to injury Aaliyah Parker and freshman Myana Cooksey. Amelia Strong has been available only 6 games, Caliana Fenceroy 7 games, Lakeeyah Barnes and Jemina Lacroix 11 games each, Lore Porter 13 games, and Marlee Dickinson 16 of the 18 games Niagara has played. Only 5 players have been available for all 18 games. No players have entered the portal. I am sure that there is a lot of frustration but if all the players return Niagara will be competitive again next season. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

It was one of the worst games I have watched all season. The refs were awful. The announcers said the game was getting out of control and something might happen, and it did - ejections, technical foul, etc. I was glad when it was over and nobody got hurt. Niagara secrets, like its classified material. Ooh. ooh, don't let any of this get out, it will turn the world topsy turvy. Of course, somethings can't be revealed due to legal and ethical restrictions, however, many other things can be released in generalized terms, eg, an athlete has an upper body injury or is excused due to illness, he/she has left the team for personal reasons, etc.. With 21 seconds left in the 3rd quarter Niagara’s Lecroix fouled Canisius’ Wittenberg. Obvious foul and Wittenberg either smiled at or said something to the NU player who proceeded to shove Wittenberg and had to be restrained. Lecroix was thrown out of the game but after a lengthy review Wittenberg was called for a technical. Niagara got two shots and ball out of bounds. Canisius got no free throws. So after scoring 30 points in 29 minutes and 39 seconds Niagara was able to get back in the game by scoring 5 in 21 seconds. Really bad blocking call at end of game on an obvious charge. Are Niagara, Canisius, and St Peter’s the only D1 teams without pink uniforms? [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
