I hope we beat them each and every time we play them. I hope we beat them by the widest margin possible. The more I anger their fan base, the better the rivalry. Anyone remember going to the GC and Aud in the 60s and 70s ? Niagara fans and Canisius fans would have at it verbally and physically. If we don't even have that any longer then I'm through. The NIL and Portal have destroyed almost every BOOSTER CLUB in the country.Its all about the money and no longer about tradition. I will admit the current status of the game with NIL and the portal take some sheen off of rivalries. Playing a team twice a year for 4 years adds to the potential of added emotion. Alas, those days be gone. The saddest thing about MAAC basketball today is that there's hardly a .500 team in the Conference. Just transfers in, transfers out, make the best of it.
