Well I gotta tell you, St. Bona has earned every positive return it has gotten. The Bonnies and their fans deserve to be proud of the program's accomplishments. St. Bonaventure did it right !

I mean when you have both Niagara and Canisius reject Bob Lanier and the Bonnies accepting him, that right there tells you just one part of the story of how NU and Canisius have always been on the wrong side of the equation AND the Brown Indians/Bonnies have been on the right side of it all.

Can you imagine Calvin and Big Bob on the same Niagara team ? I guess that's all we, on the Niagara side can do . . . IMAGINE ! The Bonnies have done more than imagine , they took action.

Way back when I was a HUGE NU fan and knew most of the guys in the know, it was common knowledge that Lanier would go to NU if accepted. He would also go to Canisius if accepted as per that possibility. However, St. Bona took a chance on the kid, and the rest is history.
the Boosters back then, including the late Jerry Wolfgang certainly knew much more than I did and surely, most others.
