Yes, the name of the game is your talent.
What gets a talented player to NU right now? I see no difference in the way we play. There’s nothing that stands out to a recruit. The stands are empty, the interest level low.
A smart move would be to go to a full time press strategy. Look at a D2 program - Nova Southeastern. They dominate in D2. They pressure the entire game, play their own game.
A few kids might find that appealing and decide it fits them. The only reason to go to NU now is if it’s close to home, or your only offer.

Marist has 20 wins, but it is a joke of a team. It loses to other MAAC teams that are also bad; it has barely beaten MAAC teams , Niagara included. In fact, we could have a team with a losing record in the NCAA tourney, that's how thin the difference in talent is in this league. The MAAC tournament will be wide open for those teams above and below .500 to reach the BIG DANCE. Unfortunately, it looks like Niagara will not even be in its' own conference tournament.

The MAAC rep will ,undoubtedly, be a 16th seed or more likely a play in team.

The MAAC NCAA rep will be a one and done loser ! That's how bad the talent level is in the MAAC.

There is no talent in the MAAC, just bad players and worse. There isn’t one guy in the MAAC whom I consider D-1 mid to high major material. All the League has is low D-1 to D-3 talent. But that’s my opinion, you can believe what you want. I just have not seen any All East quality players in the MAAC and I have been watching what you have via the media.
