Not nearly enough...this is the worst Niagara team I can ever remember, and that includes all the Chris Casey years.

I remember the 6-21 season back in the early 60s. We had one GREAT player: Tom Lenney, who averaged about 21 points per game. That team was bad but this 2025-26 edition makes that squad look like an NIT team.

GP just can't get D-1 level kids to NU. I mean , I don't really blame him too much given the NIL, portal and administration at Niagara, but some of the blame has to be directed his way for not putting at least a somewhat competitive team on the floor. We are not even a cupcake program, we're just the filling !

The other MAAC schools seem to be able to field competitive teams...why not Niagara? And don't tell me places like Marist and St. Peter' have huge pots of NIL funds to dole out...GP is just a failure at recruiting, harsh as that may sound.
