[eyes glance but briefly at the new man, darting quickly away from his stare... slightly louder now, as she was getting used to the friendly boy Dominic, glancing warily at the other man, Darq, she replied quietly]
"I'm known as Carmen. Pleased to meet you..."
[glance flickers to both, including the pair of them in her words. trust was difficult to gain from she, yet would be worth it... quietly she examines her retractible claws, feeling awkward under the man's intense stare. fear was hidden, concealed. she pondered if Dominic's latest question was on her behalf, grateful to him whether it was or not. summoning courage, she returned Darq's stare, cat-eyes surveying him quickly, amazed and alarmed at his size - he towered over her greatly, yet perhaps he was gentle and kind... she had yet to find out. turning her gaze to Dominic, she smiled slightly, then was briefly distracted, glancing over the other people in the tavern. she had met two others in such a short time. perhaps her brother was right - this may be the ideal place to make a new beginning for herself...]
