RE: J. Bryant ..........
I just read your response to Betty. I want to be the first to pat you on the back for your straight forward and acurate description of how the "real world" sees these "born again" Christian types. It's incredible to even think that those people have thrown their lives away, wasting themselves to death even, just to tell their story about some dude they call Jesus. That happened over 2000 years ago and yet their pathtic story hasn't changed not even one iota even after 2000 years! They just don't get it. It has been proven time and time again that these fad idealistic traditions die out. It's just a matter of time. Remember the Hulla Hoop? Swami so and so? Budda? Majarasne Rajneish? (sp) and many others? So what? History is full of so called "Saviors of the world" None of them are alive today. Just because their Jesus is the only one out of all of the others who raised Himself from the grave, does not mean that anyone has to believe in Him!?!?!?!?
J. Bryant, thank you for being so out spoken. You are a credit to the worldly thinkers of the world! A great example of contemorary thinking. We don't have to give a care at all to what their teachings are trying to save us from. You are to be praised for your stand on Harry Potter. It's only fictional for cry'n out loud! It's totaly useless and has no redeeming quality what-so-ever so what's the big deal???? Every parent of the world should not be concerned at all about their kids being exposed to stuff like this 'cause we know that kids would never pick up on any of those so-called evil and bad habits portrayed in those movies. Those of us who can think for ourselves would agree, that even tho we only have a very short time here on this earth to teach our kids the right way to grow, to have a prosperous and successful life, that there is plenty of time to let our kids entertain their fertile virgin minds with worthless and demented thoughts and ideals. After all, it's only fiction - like Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy. We all know that our kids are smart enough to never take any of that fictional stuff seriously.
J. Bryant, just by reading your articulate words of wisdom I can tell that you must be a real shinning example for your kids to follow. You should be very proud of the rich worldly herritage that you will be passing down to your kids. But wait, how can you pass down anything to them? They have their own minds! They can't be influnced by anything anyway.Right? God forbid that we ever let our kids near any of that Christian stuff. Like the Bible for instance. Since the Bible has NEVER been proven wrong or inaccurate, that would make the Bible non-fiction then. That means that there would be no problem with our kids reading it then, wouldn't there be?
Anyway J.Bryant, Thank you for giving us great insite into the inner workings of a truly unregenerate mind. Your worldly ideals are cut of the very same cloth of those who crucified Jesus. Your fate will be the same as theirs as well. Then again, you probably believe the Story of Christ is fictional as well so what's there to worry about???? Thanks J. Bryant for setting Betty straight.....!
Remember, there are no unbelievers after death.
