Her response to his kiss was what he had been hoping for - he hated that she had had to be here missing him, but he was also relieved to feel like she had missed him. At her nod and her reluctance to leave him, he gently pulled her closer again - he could wait on the food as long as she was happy to be in his arms. Though she tried to conceal the tears the shined in her eyes, he caught the look anything, and so brushed light kisses just beneath her lashes on either side of her face before catching her lips again - for another soft kiss, but a slow lingering one this time because he would have been content at that moment to spend the next two weeks just holding her and kissing her.
