He murmured a thanks and then listened wordlessly to her - munching on his sandwich as she talked. He swallowed and smiled a little then spoke with a slight nod. "I think he's got it in him..." Ethan seemed to take joy in surprising everyone - just when they thought they may have found something that Ethan couldn't do, he turned out to be really good at it, thus causing everyone to start the search all over again. Ethan got what he wanted - if he wanted to be a good father, he would be a good father. She questioned, still sitting up on her perch on the counter as she gazed at him for a moment and then busied herself by hopping off the counter onto to start straightening it up. Some of his bills had come in when he was gone, cell phone, car insurance, that sort of thing but she had just paid them and tossed them - it wasn't like either of them was lacking in money so that wasn't a big deal in the least. She sifted through some old mail before she swallowed a little. She had missed him, so much, and she was glad that he was home but she felt a little unsure to, a little off center with him like things had changed just a little bit from the easy going relationship they had developed before he left.
