Well, let's see. I'm sure I could think of many prize ideas if I took the time but here's the best ones I can think of right now:

Instead of having someone just post or email you or Merlin or Nimue to create their own territory, they must have a certain amount of experience and honor before having the responsibility of owning and running a territory. Of course, that means most new horses will stay in either Willow Groves or Perilous Forest, and the 'elders' of Lothorian or Stranggore will have their own territory.
Once a stallion is awarding a certain amount of honor from battles, they may choose their own mate, from either side. It's pretty devious, and most Stranggorians would likely vote for this prize, because the more Stranggorians fight than Lothorians, thus, Stranggorians would be able to choose a mate from Lothorian, and of course, Merlin would be upset, not to mention the mare. Except, important mares, such as Gwen, Merlin's mate, or sort of what you would call 'NPCs' wouldn't be able to be taken as mates.
Perhaps awards could be given for positions in territory's...once the lead stallion declares a spar or war against another horse, the lead stallion may award the winning horse a beta or omega position in their territory, and they would be good judges, since they had to fight hard to gain their own territory.

Well, as for the awards themselves, perhaps winning a spar or battle could award you a title, so instead of just Freedom, it could be Valiant Freedom. Lol, now that I think about it that's sound stupid, so maybe it should be something physical. Heh, horses can't very well wear metals though. ;)
