First off, really sorry I can't type a lot now, but I REALLY have to go. This week I'm also going to be majorly busy with a Social Studies project, but when I get time I promise to email you with suggestions.
Right now, I'm thinking your idea sounds good. It might be a lot more work for you, I could help if you like, but temporarily shutting down Mists of Avalon and redoing it, including the stricter rules, and maybe include something challenging to do -- for example, make it a lot harder to get any position of recognition. Make a quest board where horses may quest for things, and they have to do certain things, risk their lives, and I'll try to get more disasters going. My time will be constantly taken up with my OOC project, so when I do get time to think about what would make players more active best (like me) I can email you. I was playing a game where they had ranks, which really inspired me to have my posts more detailed and better vocabulary. You may want to consider making one of those. For example, rankings 1 - 10, 1 being the best, 10 being the worst. But, I'm not sure if the owner of the game would approve of you having just about the same system, but I can email him to see if it's all right with him. See you later!
