His dark mirth at her barely au courant state sickened her. Her thin skeleton draped in lackluster chestnut shuddered involuntarily. Her sporadic tail flicked half-heartedly over her jutting hips, her rip cage flickering as she breathed. An ear cocked to listen to her brother, she was irked unpleasantly by his cull of words, and a poor choice at that.

"I've been... around."

What an unbelievable understatement.

She watched blankly as she could almost feel the wheels in his head turning, grinding away at thoughts and churning out unpalatable plans. Her weary mind didn't appreciate or look forward to this. The loathsome abhor for life that she retained was most obvious as she lowered her head, her neck almost felt tired from the strain of standing for so long.

Maybe she hadn't run here. Who knows.

He could read her like an old book; and her tales werent promising. They were, however, fiction.

"Mmhmm. Where ya been all these years? Not dutifully hanging around the active, wonderful lands of your birth, thats for sure."

He snorts lightly, as he looks around at the deserted wasteland; metaphorical tumble weed strolling past.
