"No, not exactly around here. More like the forest from bloody hell."

She didn't really want to elaborate on the story, but she would if forced to the edge of a steep cliff with a sharp stick. Not that a sharp stick could do anything to the barely-there mare. A rattling eerie sound slipped obscurely from her lips, it was an odd cynical laugh. Her thin chest hurt with exertion of all this 'strenuous' activity. She longed to fold her brittle bones and lie down finally, she had been standing for what felt like years.

"Mind if I lie down before I collapse?"

Her eyes suddenly see the feeble straggles of grass that poked their desolate journey up through the cracked arid soil. Velvety lips pulled at a few somber blades, and the beast within her's hunger was awakened.

He could read her like an old book; and her tales werent promising. They were, however, fiction.

"Mmhmm. Where ya been all these years? Not dutifully hanging around the active, wonderful lands of your birth, thats for sure."

He snorts lightly, as he looks around at the deserted wasteland; metaphorical tumble weed strolling past.
