Subject: Very Slack

Hi Everyone,

I'm sure I'm not the onmly one who's noticed, but the messages have really dried up - obviously we've been abit slack too, so here I am..... Erin, have you considered removing the passwords from the site - makes it alot quicker to get in and I doubt anyone will drop in uninvited.

How is everyone? Its got hot over here the last couple of days, back up in the high 20's today, so thats a bummer during the week, because I'm on the tube to work and you can generally add 10 degrees to the outside heat for the tube, needless to say, its not particularly pleasant in a Black suit!

Had a nice relaxed weekend, went to the Zoo on saturday for Laura's 1.5 birthday which was cool.... expensive trip at 10 pounds a head, for a zoo not much better than Wellington's... STill Laura had a ball - was very excited about the Giraffes which she watched excitedly for about 20 minutes... all she could say for a couple of days was raffe! Raffe!... so that was a hit - other highlights were the spider monkeys, elephants and lions which were roaring the whole time we were there... all in all a good day out....

Sunday Riki went up to cambridge with Terina (her bst frnd) and they had a day sightseeing and eatinmg lunch at a cafe etc... sounds like they had a good day. I had Laura for the day and we went down to Clapham Common and watched some Aussie rules, which is a stupid game at the best of times, but even more stupid when you see abunch opf english people playing it... We went to the park, had ice cream and McDOnalds and all sorts - all building up the illusion that Dad's the good guy if you know what I mean - not a vege in sight all day!

This week I'm based in Barkingside, which is a sleepy little suburb outside london - nice and close though, only 1 hour each way on the train/tube.... Next week sees me in Bracknell on Monday - Poole on Tues/Wed/Thurs and Southampton onfriday, so will be away a bit... Still, I'm getting to see a fair bit of England, more so than most english people it seems. They dont tend to travel alot... Riki & Laura may come and stay for a couple of nights in Poole if it works out, so that will be nice.... Anyway, tahts whats happening here... Riki hasn't heard about her job yet, but has another couple on the go, so things are coming together nicely there too... She has organinse some playgroups etc for Laura, so she can meet some other kids, and any Nannying job riki gets will also facilitate that.

Hi to everyone who reads this.... COuld someone print it out and make it available to Grandma and Grandad/Beryl. I dont know how to write anymore, so the whole letter thing is out of the question... Grandma, if you end up hearing this, congratulations on your degree, sorry we haven't caught up before now... Hi to everyone else (where are the mccrory';s on here anyway!??), looking forward to hearing everyone's news.
CHeers
Mark
