Subject: Hello Everyone??

Hi Guys,

This seems to have slowed down somewhat from it early days... Anyway - thought it was time for the latest installment of news from over here.

Dianne & Gary are back from their spanish holiday and are going back to work next week, they came over for lunch last weekend which was cool - we saw all their photos and had a catch up. Looks like it was a pretty awesome trip - hard to figure out how they manage to fit in so much travel - we're going to have to get busy if we're going to do half as much as they have in the time we're here.

Monday was a bank holiday, so we bummed around at home for the morning before Geoff & Jenny came round to play cards.... but laura stayed up the whole time they were here and we ended up going ten pin bowling instead...

I was in London for the remaining 4 days of the week which was a nice change and as such was home at a reasonable hour most nights. Had a pretty quiet week until Friday night when we took Laura to the circus. Was a rip off for the adults (£22) but free for Laura and she enjoyed it, there were horses and birds and jugglers and clowns etc...so she had a ball.

Yesterday morning we went round to Olivia and Noddy's to watch the rugby with about 10 kiwis and 7 Aussies... I managed to watch all but the last three minutes which turned out well... because I had been quite confident before I left, but was spared the backlash from the aussies when they scored the last try.... disappointment though!

Played Cricket for Simon Bakers old club over here yesterday whcih turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Baker had talked me up all week to the captain, and I came on to bowl first change only to pull my hamstring on the second ball. I hobbled my way through 7 very medium paced overs before having to stop, with the crap figures of 7 overs - 0 for 26. We were chasing 220 to win and needed about 8 an over off the last ten. I was promoted to number 6 to try and get things moving a little bit.... I got 33 off 17 balls before missing one and getting bowled. So that sort of made up for the bowling... we lost by forty runs, after the tail inexplicably shut up shop... anyway.

Riki starts work this friday - I'm in London all week which will be good again. SO thats what we've been up to. Would be good to hear from people...

HJope everyones well
