Did I mention that the Trabant (now that most of them have been recycled the wasteful way) now has a bit of a cult status. Search "microcars" or "micro-cars" and you'll see it's not the first time something like this happened. So maybe the best thing to do with that ancient Yugo or Chevette is to preserve it with care--even if you wouldn't drive it in traffic on a bet.

To enlarge on Jay Leno's remarks about the "What Would Jesus Drive?" campaign--Single male tradesman living in a rural community with bad roads, goes out into the nearby desert... by Leno's math; most likely a big 4x4 pickup.

Not only that, but He'd have at least a dozen passengers and sometimes Mom--AND in that culture, men and women were seated separately--so we're talking about seating for 15 or more. NOBODY makes a consumer Soccer Utility Vehicle that big. They make small school-buses with nice, heavy-duty transfer-cases & front drive-axles--with that much seating. Add lockable differentials so all six tires turn if one does, and I reckon THAT is what Jesus would drive. I can think of about a dozen ways to belabor this absurdity, from where they'd stop for lunch to which credit-card He would carry for fuel...

("...because in that little town they'll take the sandals from your feet before you've quite breathed your last--but they won't take ANY card from American Express®...")

...or we could drop it. RKBA! Regards & Happy Valentine's Day (if applicable), all.
