Why do you ask questions when you know that your opinion is the right one so strongly. I mean no offense, but your questions are jam packed with your viewpoint. Communication is not really possible when you enter with so much baggage. Not that I am a sage, but even I can tell how strongly you feel about this.
I think that if you throroughly read Nerode's website, then you would probably understand why he would want to express something.
Yoganda was a great teacher, but he did create another religious belief system, leading many into massive troubles with guilt, pride, jealousy, etc.. It might not be the teacher's fault (whoever he or she might be), but these highly structured belief systems create a lot of room for unhappiness.
