not my point at all. I've done enough work to see that belief and disbelief are just movements of thought. In thought one is caught in oneself only. Integration removes that separation. Reality takes place on it's own.
I didn't say that the masters were right or wrong.
I only meant that picking what to believe is just an ego trip, a belief system is just a buffer, a filter.
Doing away with beliefs is pulling the rug out from beneath one's own feet. Indeterminancy is more true and real than spiritual ideas.
It is the looking for or forward to another world that annoys me. The masters that impress me are the ones that bring their disciples back to the reality that is right in front of their face.
I'm no stranger to Tibetan Buddhism. You missed my point. We are constantly passing through different bardos and there are lots of interpretations of the different ones. Trungpa Rinpoche said something along the lines of "if it can't be worked on in this very life, then it is not real."
I believe that oneself is every persons greatest koan. That phrase used to mean nothing to me.
