I decided to return to this board to see if it has improved much. Unfortunately, it still seems to attract those who throw mud at other's beliefs.
Regarding the issue of Yoganandaji's so-called "forged" signature, the answer to this has already been made very clear from SRF itself.
Just go to any SRF bookstore and pick up a copy of the Guru's "Whispers from Eternity" in the red and gold hardcover edition. There, in the front of the book, you will read SRF's complete public explanation of its decision to correct the spelling of the Veda-based title of the Guru, because of an incorrect rendering of the Sanskrit. The reason: SRF did not want an inaccurate usage of the past to be perpetuated. As it says, "Whereas the Paramhansa spelling was used for relatively few years, his name and title will leave for aeons, and should stand without question as designating one who is a true Paramahansa."
The facts are there in black and white for anyone who reads the Guru's magnificent books. I believe SRF's intention is noble, and they have made no attempt to hide the fact that this change was made.
Now please, I will slip away so others can return to insulting Ananda, SRF, Solar Logos, and other offshoots of the Guru's wonderful family.
