Direct Connect works fine for me and my Anime collection(including the Transformers DVD rip, which I share !!) has quadrupled in 1 week. You don't need to see people's files, if you know what you're looking for. You just do a search and you'll know who has what you want(search goes through everyone, even those with no empty slots). The thing is, like Napster, finding what you want depends on who's online. I just did a search with "Transformers", and got at least 15 different episodes. Yesterday night I got ziltch. So you just gotta keep trying. By the way I'm(Gatts) now either in the MKBO#1 or MKBO#2 hub(anime hubs). I'm there almost 24/7 and I'll start sharing Transformers episodes in 2 or 3 days after I free up some space. Trust me, I've delt with practically every single way of downloading files(ftp,Mirc,HTTP,Cutemx,etc.), and direct connect is one of the best.
